Huawei Mobile Phone Price in Bangladesh

Among top Chinese tech company Huawei Technologies Co. Limited is one of them. Headquarter of Huawei Technologies Co. Limited is situated in Shenzhen, Guangdong.

Huawei was founded by a former engineer in the People's Liberation Army Ren Zhengfei in 1987. It is the largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer in the world. Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. is a Chinese multinational networking, telecommunications equipment and services company. From year 2018, Huawei have become the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world leaving Samsung behind and also Huawei became 72nd of Fortune Global 500 in Fortune Magazine.

In the beginning Huawei mainly focused on manufacturing phone switches, but has since expanded its business to include building telecommunications networks, providing operational and consulting services and equipment to enterprises inside and outside of China, and manufacturing communications devices for the consumer market.

Talking about Huawei’s employees, it has over 170,000 employees as of September 2015, around 76,000 of whom are engaged in research and development. It has 21 research and development institutes in countries including China, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Finland, France, the United States, Canada, , Belgium, Germany, Colombia, India, Russia, Sweden, Ireland and Turkey and more.

In 2014, Huawei recorded a profit of 5.5 billion USD. Its products and services have been deployed in more than 170 countries and it currently serves 45 of the world's 50 largest telecoms operators.

In the year of 2017, its research and development investment ranks 6th among all the tech giants globally.

Moreover, in year 2018 Huawei announced plans to make their patented Nano Memory a new industry standard. This new technology is smaller than a microSD yet holds similar storage capacities.

Huawei shipped more than 54 million smartphones in quarter two this year, taking 15.8 per cent of the total market share.

In a press release, Huawei's P20/P20 Pro series found strong demand in the global market, helping it build a high profile in the market.

Huawei in Bangladesh

In year 2018 technology and smartphone manufacturing company Huawei has announced the appointment of Kelvin Yang as the country director of Huawei Consumer Business Group in Bangladesh, said a press release. Kelvin is a graduate from Hunan University in China.

Yang will be responsible for providing strategic oversight for the consumer business group in the country.

Before appointment of Yang as a country director, Yang served as country director of Huawei Device Tunisia, directing device business. He joined Huawei in 2010, having held positions in Tunisia and China, said the release.

Cricketer Shakib Al-Hasan is acting as Huawei’s brand ambassador for the Bangladeshi market for quite sometimes now. Recently his contract has been renewed till 2020 and is said in a press release the company issued recently.

The collaboration signifies a long-term partnership as Huawei believes in working together with its partners and continues to introduce innovative products in the market. Zhao Haofu, CEO, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd believes that the partnership deal will play a key role in for Huawei’s brand ambition in Bangladesh.

According to Ziauddin Chowdhury, device sales director, said: “I believe the partnership will help Huawei get closer to consumers. As Huawei is becoming more popular as a brand, there are many areas we can work on with Shakib.”

About this partnership, Sakib said: “I am happy to be associated with Huawei, a company which has been maintaining high standard in ICT, telecommunications and device industry globally.”

Huawei has risen huge response to its customers after launching Huawei Y9 (2019) in the Bangladesh market. Cricketer Shakib al Hasan, the world’s best all-rounder, handed over the new phone to the customers who gave pre-orders to buy the handsets.

Due to successful of the first day sales the celebration was organized at one of the top shopping complex in Bangladesh, Jamuna Future Park, and inside the Central Court in Dhaka to mark the first sale of the latest edition of Y9 Series.

There we entertainment and a gaming competition was arranged for the mobile gamer and the winners were given gift hampers.

Huawei’s Operating System EMUI

Huawei uses Emotion User Interface (EMUI) which is a ROM/OS that is being developed by Huawei Technologies Co. Limited and is based on Google's Android Open Source Project (AOSP). EMUI is preinstalled on most Huawei Smartphone devices and its subsidiaries the Honor series of Huawei.
